Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using FreelancerOS, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.
2. Who we are
FreelancerOS is currently operated by Masum Khan, an individual based in Bangladesh. A registered company is in formation; this section will be updated once complete.
3. The service
FreelancerOS is a platform for managing clients, projects, invoices, time tracking, and documents, with AI-assisted workflow generation for independent technical professionals.
4. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old to use FreelancerOS. You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. Provide accurate information during signup.
5. Plans and billing
FreelancerOS offers Free, Professional, Agency, and Enterprise plans. Paid plans are billed via our payment processor (Merchant of Record) on a monthly or annual basis and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel or change plans at any time from Settings → Billing, which opens our processor's self-service billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise.
The Free plan is limited to 1 client and 3 AI-generated projects, for the lifetime of the account (not a monthly allowance). These limits may change with notice.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use FreelancerOS for anything illegal, to attempt to breach the platform's security, to abuse AI features (e.g. excessive automated requests), or to resell access without our agreement.
7. Your client data
You're responsible for the data you input about your own clients, and for having the legal right to store and process it. FreelancerOS acts as a data processor for this information on your behalf.
8. AI-generated content
AI-generated workflows, pricing suggestions, and drafted content are estimates intended to save you time — they are not guarantees of accuracy, and you're responsible for reviewing them before relying on them in real client engagements.
9. Intellectual property
You own the content you create on FreelancerOS (your clients, projects, documents). We own the FreelancerOS platform itself.
10. Termination
You can stop using FreelancerOS and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.
11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
FreelancerOS is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. This section will be updated if the operating entity changes jurisdiction.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice.
