Cookie Policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of data stored in your browser. We also use similar browser-storage technology (like local storage) for some functionality — this policy covers both.
What we use
Authentication (essential): our authentication provider, Clerk, sets session cookies required to keep you signed in. The platform doesn't function without these.
Theme preference: your light/dark mode choice is saved in your browser's local storage, not sent to our servers.
Payment processing: when you go through our payment processor's checkout flow, they may set their own cookies on their own domain to process the payment securely. We don't control these directly.
What we don't use
FreelancerOS does not currently use advertising or third-party analytics/tracking cookies. If this changes in the future, we'll update this page and, where required, ask for your consent first.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking essential authentication cookies will prevent you from staying signed in.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves.
